- Remote Deposit Capture – Eligible businesses can scan checks from their office for deposit into their BusinesScape account
- Online ACH Origination – initiate ACH transactions to disburse and receive funds from employees or vendors
- Business check writing
- Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Debit Card – up to 99 cards can be issued on this account.
- Payroll Services
- Lockbox Services
- Merchant Payment Services – accept card transactions from clients/vendors for credit to your BusinesScape account
- Electronic Tax Payment Services
The Business Active Assets Accountsm provides brokerage services for businesses with excess capital or longer-term investment needs. This account has a smaller set of capabilities, which allow you easy access to funds:

- Business check writing
- Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Debit Card – up to two cards can be issued on this account
- Ability to transfer funds to/from your Business Active Assets Account

- An automatic investment sweep that keeps your cash working harder. At the end of each business day, the cash in your account is automatically invested in a money market fund5 that you choose. Certain not-for-profit entities have an additional choice to sweep to FDIC insured bank deposits.
- World-class financial services to help you meet the challenges ahead. Through your Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Financial Advisor, you get access to a wide range of investment opportunities, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds and variable annuities.1
- A consolidated statement that makes it easy for you to review and monitor your account activity each month. An extensive Annual Summary consolidates and categorizes your annual activity in an easy-to-read format.
- Round-the-clock online access to account information so you can monitor your account activity via the phone or Internet, it's up to you.
1. The money market fund prospectus is available from your Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Financial Advisor. You should read the prospectus for more complete information, and consider the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses of the fund carefully before investing.
2. The BusinesScape account is a brokerage account with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC, a registered broker-dealer. It offers access to debit cards, check writing, and payroll and lockbox services through licensed banks and other third parties.
