The financial services industry is one of the most heavily regulated in the world. Adherence to all applicable laws and regulations is absolutely critical. However, the firm's clients, shareholders, competitors and the public have come to expect more from us than simple obedience to the letter of the law. They expect the highest degree of ethics, honesty and fairness in all our dealings.

The Morgan Stanley Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, which has been approved by the Board of Directors, codifies those aspirations and values. Each employee and officer of the firm has pledged to uphold these core values that define our company and the way we do business.
